The region’s leader in healthcare innovation—growing world-class care in the heart of Eastern Idaho.
Nearly 150 years ago, W.W. Mayo opened a small hospital in rural Rochester, Minnesota. Over time, it grew into one of the most respected medical institutions in the world—known as “The Miracle in the Cornfield.”
Inspired by that legacy, Bingham Healthcare embraced a bold vision of its own: If world-class healthcare can grow from a cornfield in Minnesota, why not a potato field in Idaho?
That belief continues to guide everything we do—pushing us to deliver care at the highest standard, grounded in compassion, innovation, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve.
Established in 1950 as Bingham Memorial Hospital, our organization began as a critical access hospital serving Blackfoot, Idaho. Today, we’ve grown into a dynamic healthcare network delivering advanced care across the region.
While our roots remain rural, our approach is anything but traditional. We continuously evolve how healthcare is delivered—bringing expanded access, new specialties, and modern facilities to Eastern Idaho.
